Carpet Stitch

Carpet binding or carpet stitch involves modification to the edges of a carpet with fabric, adhesives and/or stitching. In practice, binding protects the edge of the carpet from wear and from unraveling. Binding can add not only function but style to match your décor. It can be an effective way of using old/waste carpet and produce alternative carpet matting that can be used in the home. Carpet binding can produce a functional and economical work of art.
